Lat. ducere—is in the Icel. and Norse only preserved in the part. toginn]:—to draw; enn togni hjörr, a drawn sword, Merl. 2. 66; með sverð um togin, Hkm. 9; tognum sverðum (Germ. ge-zogenes schwert), Darr.; toginn skjómi, Vellekla; cp. the derivatives toga, teygja, as also in tjúga.
